Physics Majors Receive Undergraduate Research Awards
Two physics majors have received undergraduate research awards for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Samuel Borer was awarded a Maine Space Grant Consortium Undergraduate Fellowship Award for “Measuring the Cross Section of Charge Current Quasi-Elastic Neutral Hyperons in ArgoNeuT.” Sam is advised by Dr. Saima Farooq.
Paul Caruso was awarded a College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Fellowship Award for “Structural Studies of Nanostructured Thin Film Materials Using High Resolution X-ray Diffraction.” Paul is advised by Dr. Robert Lad.
