Applied high power radio frequency and microwave physics.
RF Technologies Corporation of Lewiston, Maine engineers, designs and manufactures systems and components used in high power RF and microwave applications all over the world. Some of these include microwave-driven particle accelerators for major research organizations such as Fermilab, Argonne national Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore Laboratory. Others include major research universities including Stanford Linear Accelerator and the electron LINACs for the free electron laser research facilities at Duke University and Vanderbilt University. We also design and build high power RF and microwave equipment for fusion energy research organizations such as M.I.T.'s Plasma Fusion Center and the DIII-D Tokamak at General Atomics in San Diego. Our endeavors also include other applications such as microwave-driven particle accelerators for cancer diagnostics and radiation therapy.
