BIO: William Klemperer is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and recipient of numerous awards from the American Chemical Society and the American Physical Society, as well as of the Faraday Medal, Royal Society of Chemistry. His research interests lie in the area of molecular structure, energy transfer, and intermolecular forces, and he helped to found the field of interstellar chemistry.
