Graduate study at the University of Maine is a long tradition, dating back to the first Master's degree conferred in 1881. Today, our graduate degree candidates uphold this tradition of striving for excellence. Many of these students will go on to teach others an appreciation of the sciences, while others will expand our knowledge of the universe.
You may meet some of our graduate students in the lab or the classroom. They help remind us that the sky is only a limit enforced
by the mind; expand your mind and you push the limit.
